10 Reasons to Belly Dance PDF Print E-mail

1. You can now wobble everything you've got without anyone looking at you in disgust!

2. You have a good excuse to own dangerous weapons (a sword and a cane)

3. You can feel beautiful and sexy and alluring, even if you're not in the real world

4. You can finally appreciate your body - just as it is.

5. You can make belly dancing your 'mid-life crisis'

6. If it's cold you can shimy instead of quivering

7. It's a good way of relieving stress without kicking the dog

8. You can have some 'me time' without feeling guilty

9. You can sing along to lyrics in a foreign language without having the slightest idea of what they mean.

10.You can dress up in bright colours, shiny metallic things, and stuff that jingles and shakes and actually go out in public!

Mom's Pamper Day Performance PDF Print E-mail

The Belly Button dancers provided some Moms at the Saturn Pre-Primary School with a Pamper Day surprise when they performed some of their favourite belly dance numbers.

Some of the audience even knew the songs and provided a sing-along accompaniement.

Peter Velleman took the pictures.

If you would like to add something different and exciting to your function, event, fund-raiser, or party, a belly dance performance will certainly provide a never-to-be-fogotten element. Contact Gwenyth on 084 769 2017.

SG writes: "I totally agree with you GK!! Ever since I joined your class, I have learned to express myself more openly and I simply love it! Growing up in an Indian community wasn't easy ... People always mocked us for being shy and coy ... That's until I started belly dancing!! It has made me so confident and I can't stop dancing ... I love it!

The Belly Button Mission Statement PDF Print E-mail

We have now fortunately, entered a more enlightened age, where women are free to choose and encouraged to explore their own sensuality.
